Have you ever noticed if something is bad and you tell them the truth, they don't want know about it. So it makes me wonder why do you ask for the truth if you don't want it? Would you get upset if someone told you the truth of something and you didn't like to answer? Why ask for the truth if you want to just hear something to make you happy.

I definatly think that people should always tell the truth. The reason that some people don't believe it when they hear the truth is because the world today is filled with lies and liars, which in turn makes it hard to distinguish between a lie and the truth.
Telling the truth can be tricky. All and all, i think that the person who wants to hear the truth from you, truely indeed wants it.. but doesn't necessarily like what he/she is hearing or doesn't believe what your saying is the actual truth. So when i doubt, tell the truth and go with your first instinct.
I think the truth is so important! I hate liars. Thats how all rumors get started and it makes me so angry. I also think its also easier to take the truth than people talking behind your back
